ENDNOTE - HAN

All staff and students at HAN have access to EndNote. EndNote is a program that helps you collect, organize, cite and share references to sources (articles, books, data, etc.) and often the full text of those sources too. Because of its speed and advanced options, EndNote is not only suitable for use with a thesis or paper, but also especially suitable for processing large numbers of publications in systematic reviews.

Some advantages:

- Search hundreds of online resources for references and PDFs

- Find full articles (PDFs) of references in one click ("Find full text")

- Read, review, annotate and search PDFs

- Share your entire library (or part of it) with colleagues (internal and external), track changes and manage who is allowed to change the data

- Keep your bibliographic data healthy with options for automatic referencing and link updating

- Create rules to organize references automatically as you work.

EndNote X9 -> EndNote 20

The manuals and videos in this libguide sometimes relate to EndNote X9. HAN uses a newer version (EndNote 20), but the content is mostly the same. As soon as new manuals or videos are available, we’ll replace the older versions.

Support

Numerous manuals and videos are available that make EndNote easy to use. More information can be found in this libguide and on the EndNote website.

- Don't see a "Cite While You Write" tool in Word? Then check Clarivate EndNote Support for Cite While You Write first.

- Having trouble installing EndNote? Contact the IT department at the research support team (onderzoeksondersteuning@han.nl).

This libguide will be supplemented in the near future.
